Wow Factor Day 5
A Dozen Cars That Get Attention

The first generation Ford Thunderbird was built to rival the Corvette in the two-seater market. The car was designed as a “personal luxury car” and not a sports car, selling on design. One of the unique factors was the porthole window seen in the top. The 1957 model broke sales records, but the company went to a four-seater in 1958. Ford brought back the two seater T-bird in 2002, but it didn’t sell well. Imitation is not flattery in all cases.
